From Yahoo! News, i read an article about a white tiger mauling his Zookeeper to death. After i finished reading, i was pretty much bothered by what they did to the poor animal. Coming from a species that's nearing extinction, i thought they should've considered killing the animal and investigated further. There must be a reason why that tiger mauled his Zookeeper. White Tiger destroyed

I know most people would want that tiger destroyed after killing a human being, but aren't animals - when provoked - prone to defend themselves and, somewhat resort into attacking the person? I really was disappointed that they've already destroyed it, despite knowing so well that white tigers are so rare, and are going to be wiped out from this world. Don't they treasure his species enough to keep it?

It was a tragic loss, lemme tell ya. I'm not even surprised if Animal Rights peeps would come and hound the Zoo, demanding answers to justify the death of yet another rare species.
